I FINALLY FINISHED! I THINK I BROKE MY FINGERS DOING THIS!

I think I killed my fingers from this. I never played the PC Celeste, but it's probably worse.

Very nice implementation of Megaman into Celeste and also adapting the character's mechanic to Celeste's level design is wonderful
Good Work!

Beautiful! Clever gameplay mechanics and, above all, clever level design! Thank you for made it!

wow, really cool idea.

Not having played actual Celeste, I thought the game was a lot of fun.  For some reason, I really sucked at dash jumping, but other than that I really enjoyed trying to solve the platforming puzzles and getting the timing down on the shooting.  I think it would've been nice if there was a sound effect each time you successfully shot the boss though.  Overall, really fun experience.

Now more than ever, cannot unsee Megaman's normal shots as lemons.

This is the most creative hack of Celeste I've played. It's super cool! It also happens to be the hardest hack I've played. I assume but the difficulty is intentional, but I recommend tuning the enemies a bit, as they shoot super quickly, and the one hit kills make it super easy to die.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, most of the enemy balance was around the player's movement speed, which was matched with the original Celeste. I can try to fiddle with the enemy timers, but in a lot of levels, the easiest route is to just hop over the enemy after they've fired. :)

looking forward to this later this evening!
